- M&M's Q1 Results: Mahindra & Mahindra's revenue from operations in the first quarter of FY25 saw a 12% increase to ₹27,038.79 crore from ₹24,137.19 crore on a year-on-year basis. The automaker achieved market share gains and continued margin expansion in both the Auto and Farm segments.
- Q1 Results: On Wednesday, automotive giant Mahindra & Mahindra reported a standalone net profit of ₹2,612.63 crore for Q1FY25, marking a 5.3% decrease from ₹2,759.43 crore in the same period last year. The decline in profit after tax was attributed to two one-off gains totaling ₹763 crore last year, according to the company.

- Operational earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the quarter ending June 2024 increased by 22% to ₹4,023 crore from ₹3,286 crore year-on-year. The EBITDA margin also saw an improvement of 130 basis points to 14.9% from 13.6%.

- "In the first quarter of F25, we increased market share in both the Auto & Farm sectors. We recorded the highest ever quarterly tractor volumes and improved our Core Tractors PBIT margin by 110 bps year-on-year. We maintained our market leadership in SUVs with a 21.6% revenue market share, and in LCVs under 3.5T, we surpassed a 50.9% volume market share. The Auto Standalone PBIT grew by 39% with a margin improvement of 180 bps year-on-year," shared Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director & CEO (Auto and Farm Sector) of M&M Ltd.
- M&M Auto Segment Results
- The revenue for M&M's auto segment in Q1FY24 climbed by 13% to ₹18,947.09 crore from ₹16,753.88 crore year-on-year. The segment's EBIT increased by 39% year-on-year to ₹1,798.32 crore, while the EBIT margin improved to 9.5%.
- Mahindra sold a total of 211,550 vehicle units in the June quarter, marking a 14% increase from the 186,138 units sold in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
- M&M Farm Equipment Segment Results
- The revenue for M&M's Farm Equipment segment grew by 9% YoY to ₹8,144.15 crore, while its EBIT increased by 16% to ₹1,505.81 crore, and the EBIT margin widened to 18.5% from 17.5% YoY.
- The company's tractor sales during the quarter went up by 5% to 120,492 units, up from 114,293 units sold in the corresponding quarter last year, setting a new record for the company's highest ever quarterly tractor volumes.
